Please ensure you read and understand these requirements before your riding session.
All riders must provide their own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). We provide safety hats if needed.
No Head Cams
Head cams are not permitted at our centre. This includes use on the head, chest, bridle or any part of the horse.
Suitable Clothing
Riders must wear long trousers, long-sleeved top, and boots with a small square heel. Trainers are not suitable. Remove watches and jewellery before riding.
Riding Hat Required
All riders must wear a riding hat approved to current standards, securely fastened at all times when leading, mounting/dismounting, and riding.
Registration Form
All riders must complete the rider registration form and agree to our terms before riding. Once submitted, you will receive a code to present on arrival.
Do Not Feed Animals
Please do not feed the horses, ponies, dogs or cat at the centre without permission from staff.
Weight Limit
The maximum weight for riders is 13 stone. Riders may be weighed regularly at our discretion.
Rider Code of Conduct
By riding at our centre, you agree to the following code of conduct.
"I understand that riding has inherent risk and horses may react unpredictably on occasions. I may fall off and could be injured. I accept that risk."

Follow Instructions I understand that instructions are given for my safety and agree to follow instructions given by staff and instructors.

Wear Safety Equipment I understand that wearing an appropriate riding hat (and body protector if chosen) may reduce injury severity and agree to wear a hat whenever riding, leading or grooming.

Be Honest About Your Abilities I understand the riding school will make decisions based on information I give them and agree to always be honest about my abilities, riding experience, accidents, and any medical conditions.

Supervise Children I understand children are at particular risk around horses and agree to supervise them when not being instructed.

Accept Safety Decisions I understand the riding school may refuse my request to ride for safety or operational reasons.

Competition Awareness I understand that competing carries enhanced risk. If I participate, it is my responsibility to ensure I am capable of riding the course and any jumps. If in doubt, I will not enter.
